Special Notices

Akarana DTC has been training dogs in the Auckland area since 1961. We are currently one of the smaller agility clubs in Auckland, but we are also one of the friendliest! We offer classes in Domestic Obedience and Agility training.

Training for Agility takes place on Tuesday nights and Obedience is on Wednesday nights throughout the year. Our grounds are located at the Phyllis Street Reserve in Mt Albert, Auckland. You are welcome to drop by and visit us on one of these nights to watch how our classes run.

Our instructors are experienced dog handlers, who compete in dog sports themselves. They freely give their time to teach the sport they love to anyone who would like to learn.
